Market conditions and competitive atmosphere are considered every time while
the audit, certification and training fees are determined. All the fees are
determined by operation manager according the rules listed below:
Determination of the Fees for Management System Certification
There are 4 main criterias to determine the fees for management system
certification which are specified in IAF guides.
1. Auditor man/day number
2. Technical expert man/day number and cost
3. General office activities and expenditures
4. Tax costs and annual profit targets
A regular quotation is calculated the formula below;
1. Auditor fee per day: x TL
2. Expert fee per day: x TL
3. Office expenses per day: x/2 TL
Operation manager determines total audit day(s) for each certification
application according to minimum audit day numbers specified in international
guides. Beside initial, firs surveillance, second surveillance and re-certification
audit are calculated separately by operation manager. After these calculations
total base cost per one certification operation is determined. That base cost is
used to find the final quotation for a single certification operation with the
formula below shown;
Company profit = base cost x 1,5
Invoicing and Payment
Quotation is sent to the client through operation directorship.
Invoices are prepared after the signing of the contract agreement for initial
certification. Before initial certification audit %50 of specified fee on the contract
has to be received. Otherwise certification audit shall not be done.
If it is required to perform a re-certification audit under the circumstances of
suspend, cancellation or rejection of certificate, all the fees related to that audit
have to be received before the audit.
